Water Jet Cutting is now on Netflix

OK – it might not be Squid Game or Stranger Things or get the viewing figures of either, but water jet cutting is now available to watch on Netflix.

A United States firm has partnered with a show that focuses on the restoration of custom cars. Water jet cutting has been found to be the tech best suited to faithfully making replacement parts and also carrying out gentle repair jobs.

To quote from the press release we have seen:

In the current season, which premiered on Oct. 23, the featured team at Gotham Garage is using a Flow Mach 500 waterjet to transform classic cars into custom builds. The machine is equipped with the Dynamic Waterjet XD cutting head, powered by Flow’s HyperJet pump, for complex cutting. 

The show is now into its sixth series and it is the latest run of episodes that water jet cutting joins the cast list. We must admit, the show wasn’t one we had watched, but now we are hooked!

There are some stunning cars restored and also a look at how modern tech is allowing beautiful machines to be given a second lease of life.
